Karen Benest has extensive experience in financial services, having spent many years working in the management of a large retail banking organisation. She specialises in employee benefit trust structures and share plan administration.
Her strong operational and management skills have been put to good use in streamlining administration processes and effecting enhanced financial controls. Karen is particularly keen to work with clients and to establish and develop long lasting client relationships, where she believes a real difference can be made.
Karen joined one of the predecessor firms of Appleby in April 2003 as an Associate Director, and was appointed to the Board in September 2003.
Karen is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, a member of the Institute of Management and a former winner of its Young Manager of the Year Award.
